Reluctant to admit membership
And loath to pay the dues
Not entirely in agreement
With the methods that they use
Reluctant to use the map
And loathe to read the address
I’ve read the book and got the cap
This sorry stinking mess
Reluctant to arrive or open the door
And loathe to cross the street
For the members madness clamour
At twiddling thumbs and staring feet
For grace and favour in its charms
The fire is burning bright and well
Tis stoked by loving arms
Here in hottest hell.
