Rob Balcer

Born in Montreal, Robert finished his last exam at university in April 1984 and moved to Tokyo the following day. Over the next 36 years, he has lived and worked in Japan, Bhutan, Singapore, and Thailand. Still working as a teacher in Chiang Rai, he spends considerable amounts of time photographing nature in his small orchard where he hides wherever he can find the time.
