Jeremy BorsosI’m a visual artist and self-directed nomad, currently in Berlin, living in Athens born in Canada. I have an unquenchable thirst for found things, particularly photo-based media. 8 and 16mm Film, photography, negatives, prints…I also take photographs every day, literally (with cameras, not a phone).
My nomadic lifestyle among other reasons, has precluded many exhibitions of my artworks, but I continue to work in my studio mostly in Athens but also on Mayne Island, in B.C.
I recently published a book of essays around found objects, Mayne Island: A Vernacular Past 166p that is basically an extension of my artwork in book form, meaning it can only be accessed/purchased through the local book store as part of its concept.
